and view in pictures. Through the power of the spoken word images crystallize in the mind. We do not see or think in words. We visualize in pictures. This is why it is so important to call up the feminine side of Spirit (God) and to restore balance. If we recognize power as only a masculine force or image then men
and women are out of sync with all of nature.We must realign ourselves and restore the female contribution to the whole of creation. Contrary to belief, our survival does not depend on domination. Our continuation thrives and relies on harmony.We are in a state of emergency and time is moving fast.
Individually and collectively we must look to ourselves to see the Goddess and her beauty.We must breathe deep and see her exotic reflection in the marvels of the deepest of seas and in the myriads upon myriads of the brightest of stars. Woman must
hear her bold and vibrant laughter in the babbling of a brook
and in the green blades of grass as they harmoniously sway to the courtship of the flirting wind.

Lets celebrate the reemerging and arrival of the Goddess and herself-awareness in all of nature. Take a moment to introduce yourselves to your own reflection, for the time to reconnect is long overdue. As evolved women of power and substance, we must languish in our complexities and revel in our magnificence. We are fascinating and exquisite creatures who must appreciate ourselves for the sake of our own sanity. Even in our uniqueness as individuals, we have one thing in common:
We are bound together by the Inner Goddess that lies within each and every one of us. When we explore the self and choose self-love over sacrificial insecurity, we then can be of help and support to others without being controlling or needy. Those two behavioral patterns always lead to destruction of relationships and depletion of ones own energy.

The worship and recognition of the Goddess in humankind, especially womankind, is integral in the raising of spiritual consciousness. By no means do I encourage you to abandon your way of worship and create a Goddess religion. This is not about religion.
This is about your true womanhood nature and its divinity. This is about setting things right that have been out of balance for far too long. This is about herstory. Many of my closest girlfriends embrace all walks of religion and philosophy. For example, Janice and Robin are caring Christians, Makeda is a powerful African Witch/Priestess, Gloria is a Human/Animal and
Environmental Rights Activist, Margaret is a peaceful Catholic, Tracy is an erratic poet and Reformed Jew, Cathy is a wise Buddhist, Lydia is a vegetarian and beautiful born-again Pagan, and Liz is a staunch Republican and meat eater. All these labels simply express our good humor and loving tolerance for one another. We share an unconditional love and respect that supersedes prejudice.
The written words in this book are to add to your knowledge of inner self and to generate a personal, positive transformation which leads to becoming an enlightened woman of power. It is our sacred right as women to raise the ignored Goddess and embellish our womanhood. Whether we as a patriarchal society see her or not, she is rising and is making her presence known. The world cannot continue to operate on a biased foundation that is rooted in oppression. Let's welcome her with open arms and embrace her peaceful loveliness within our own hearts.We must work cooperatively with the feminine and the masculine energy of the Divine if we are to truly live in harmony with the self and others.

It is significant for women to recognize those who have
come before us. To awaken from slumber to investigate the Goddess culture found all over the planet is an astounding revelation in itself. Side by side are remnants of matriarchal sites and temples that existed thousands of years prior to Christian churches or Muslim mosques. Many of the churches and mosques were erected after the catastrophic destruction of the peaceful Goddess worship. These sites can be visited and explored in many countries such as Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Iraq, Ireland and Italy.
Please note:
DO NOT IGNORE “HERSTORY.”
IT IS YOUR STORY.
It is equally important for women to support and honor our contemporaries who are placed in this time on earth to give us strength and to assist us in realizing our own unique place in this world. Many women throughout history have contributed much, as well as predated herstory heroines. I believe if a task is accomplished the way becomes open for even higher proficiency. This book is not just for women. Men can appreciate its contents as well. Many peace-oriented men of our time who accomplished great feats always took time to meditate, study, and emulate light bearers who were mentors.
These men went directly to their source of power and accelerated in wisdom through communing with Spirit. A few men (several of them have influential partners) of example are Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther, Malcolm X, Paramahansa Yogananda, George Washington Carver, Nelson Mandela, Tavis Smiley, Harry Belafonte, Bobby Seale, Robert Kennedy Jr., Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and The Dalai Lama.
